Air is of importance for life. An individual may endure for a few days without water without food or even. Nonetheless, it’s impossible to survive for a minute or two without atmosphere.
Oxygen is essential for the process of combustion taking place in all of the many cells of the body. This oxygen is obtained by us from the air. When we inhale, then oxygen of the air circulates in the blood flowing through the fine capillaries in the lungs, and is carried to every cell in the body.
Carbon dioxide and other poisonous substances are formed from the cells since the end pr6ducts of combustion and other processes happening in the cells. Dissolves was formed by Carbon dioxide in the bloodstream. If this impure blood carrying carbon dioxide reaches the lungs, carbon dioxide is discharged into the air present in tt1e lungs, and is invisibly with it.
Thus when we breathe in, oxygen from the atmosphere enters the lungs and melts in the blood. When we breathe out, carbon dioxide formed in the entire body is expelled. Simply speaking, the blood becomes purified in the lungs. Even this information is sufficient to make the significance of deep breathing clear to everyone.
The chief supply of oxygen on the earth is vegetation such as trees, shrubs and other green plants. Plants release oxygen, and take up carbon dioxide from the air for growth and their nourishment. The proportion of oxygen in the atmosphere is somewhat greater in areas covered with greenery. The wanton and thoughtless destruction of vegetation happening – today aggravates this lack and pollution.
These facts make it obvious that a walk in open space~ coated with greenery, like gardens and areas, is highly beneficial, particularly when followed by heavy breathing to ventilate the lungs. The body and the bloodstream, being rich, pure and fresh purifies, and fills the mind with cheer and joie de vivre. The salubrious effects of fresh air on health, mind and the entire body are universally recognized.
(1) Always breathe through the nose. The hair in the nose plays the function of a filter, removing the dust particles. In passing the atmosphere gets warmed up.
(2) Of most city folks leading lifestyles that are sedentary the breathing is shallow. The outcome is that carbon dioxide is not eliminated and toxins consequently accumulate in the human body.
(3) Do not cover the face whilst sleeping.
(4) In the winter, shield yourself from the cold with hot sheets as necessary; but keep the windows open.
